Has Brendan been partying hard at Glastonbury?

But in fairness Millen is a good number two, but I wouldn't like him to manage us again.

He hasn't done to badly for himself even though he did so badly here! Sacked by us then manages to get into the England set up and now about to be appointed as an assistant manager at one of the biggest clubs in the world! Baffling.

    Its simple
    O'Driscoll is NOT a manager.
He couldn't manage a….well i think you get the idea

What O'Driscoll is is a fantastic coach, and while here he signed a number of players that, under a real manager, enabled us to walk back into the Championship.

I think he is maybe just too droll and dry in his endearing East Midlands way to inspire people

One of the main roles for an Assistant Manager is to act as a bridge between the players and the Manager - does he have the communication skills to do that?

You guys certainly underestimate his credentials, worked for England then one of the biggest clubs in the world <doh>

Did not work out here, but he gave us some excellent signings.

He will do well with players that are more skilled than what he inherited here.

SOD was taken for a ride by our board. He was told to perform under a number of ridiculous constraints, and while it was his fault to be a "yes man" to our board, his lack of success here does not make him a bad coach/manager.

I have heard many, many stories from various staff from all quarters of Ashton Gate that he was a very, very difficult person to get on with and his man management skills were zero.

He signed Flint and made him look like a pub player, thats how good a manager he was!.. Show me these fantastic stats Red Robin Cos all the ones I have seen have been woeful! Not one player really showed any form under him and he accepted relegation at this club without a whimper.. awful man, awful manager.

When he was signed it was to do a job... whether he did the job asked of him, or it happened anyway, and then couldn't reverse the process is another story, remember, the board stated ? we may well go down ! by going down we actually rebuilt, gained some just rewards and boosted the belief of the fans who were getting extremely disenchanted...to be honest what are we likely to win in the championship in the near future? not being negative... but not a lot... our target is prem so winners runners up or a visit to wembglee.
Burnley shows how hard it is to get up and stay up.. did I do a past 5 years post that showed the low number of teams that have actually stayed up? know I worked it out...

    What stories?

From the city coaches and ex players I am acquainted with they had no negative views.

Aden Flint improved with an influx of better players coming into the club. and taking responsibility for his own performance. Well done Aiden.

City were dreadful when Mr O'Driscoll joined. The wage bill was slashed further and the club were relegated. Not so good Sean. Better off elsewhere.

City were improving when Mr Cotterill joined and he due to the savings made bought well and exceptional. Well done Steve.

Of course better players has helped Flint but he is a better player now for 1 reason.
He plays centrally in a back 3 and doesn't deviate from the width of our penalty area.
Only on 1 occasion last season was he caught wandering - against Barnsley under the Dolman, was turned and left for dead.
I give all the credit to Cotterill.

As for SOD and his signings.
For me he will go down as the worst judge in the history of football.

    Giving fu**ing Wagstaff a 3 year contract.

I already explained that in the first line of the quote you copied.

You heard good, I heard bad.
