Funniest part of the day. The City fan trying to get the sitters lower down to stand. Having a right go at a few sitters. Strips his shirt off and got the piss took out of him by the soton fans. Funny as
You think it's a southern supporters thing? Went to West Ham and apart from a few at the back everyone sat all the match!
Saw the Palace game on telly maybe they have the right idea, their singing section go to the front so those behind have to stand.
Having seen the 'pen' Dean gave...I am now more convinced than ever that the refs have got something against us...If he gave that one, why didn't he give the one for the tug on Niasse?....What is it?...Don't we serve brown paper bags? Do the changing rooms smell of 'cillit bang' ? Or don't the refs like the A63 ? There's something not right. The club need to be asking questions...
Why does a draw away feel like a win? The point about Southern supporters sitting is debatable. I know several home based supporters who were sittinf down all game. Our group was told to sit where we wanted to and we moved to the back. (motd showed me standing twice). I have to say, that the support was in fine voice. Loved the passion of Jak.
Maybe just take a breath and enjoy a good away performance. Criticising the club for not getting 3 points when we routinely lose away and complaining that we got lucky with a bad pen is incredibly petty.
This standing/sitting is very silly. It got boring a looooong time ago. If I want to stand I'll stand. If I want to sit I'll sit. In fact I'll do what the **** I like. Ta.
I'm not sure why this debate keeps cropping up, more people sit at the southern games than at the Midlands and northern ones, it's a fact rather than an opinion.
What if you want to sit, but the people in front of you don't, or you want to stand, but the people behind you don't?
Strange how these grumbles emerge at Stoke, Manchester United, Manchester City ...... Some fans like to sit. Location is irrelevant.
