I suspect it was a pre-arranged move that Clasie would replace him, unfortunately The Wotsit developed a problem and so the move was deferred, it didn't matter as SB soldiered on regardless and was still giving Sunderland plenty of problems right to the end. McCarthy was also struggling but we had used all of our subs by then.

 

Nah, he did us a mssive favor. We would have burnt out tonight and tanked the game as he wouldnt have had enough players in the squad. The academy lads probably wouldnt want to play for him and he had no faith so he would have crocked a couple of first teamers. No way we coud have played today without academy players.

Can't wait to see some highlights of Boufal throughout the game. He rinsed Sunderland players again and again. The run in the first half, the nutmeg, the dummy in the second half that sent two Sunderland players back to Sunderland.

Very similar to Mane when he first joined.
