    Here we go, our official start of the 2015/16 season and what a way to begin it. European football at St Marys for the first time in over 10 years. Players have come and gone over the summer but it's back to those who stay no matter what, us, the fans. Set to be a sell-out which is fantastic and I for one cannot wait.

    Kick off at 8.05pm Thursday 30th July.

    Saints likely line-up:
    Stekelenburg
    Cedric Jose Maya Targett
    Wanyama Clasie
    Tadic Davis Mane
    Pelle

    With no game in europe easy, especially the away legs, I am hoping that Saints can take a nice lead to Arnhem. Saints to win 2-0. Pelle and Mane with the goals.

    It would be nice if they have a go at us.......but doubtful I would have thought. Unless they get a lucky goal I think we should be able to go over there with a comfortable cushion.

    some drunk feyenoord fan I spoke to after the game thursday said vitesse are "****, totally ****" he said we will beat them 4-0 in the first leg and 0-2 in the 2nd leg.

    Will Vitesse simply try to 'shut up shop', with ten men behind the ball? Saints fans are more patient than most, but I feel that unless we get an early goal, it's going to be a long evening. But, hey, what do I know? 5-0, with a Davis hat-trick, is just as likely as my interpretation

    Anyone know what Saints numbers and names will look like for the Europa League? All premiership teams don't use their premiership names and numbers. I'm quite looking forward to it as I'm not a fan of the generic prem styling of names and numbers.

    Excited to be able to see at least Cedric and Jordy make their debuts and hopefully a cameo from Juanmi

    Also will be great to cheer Jay and hopefully he will get a few minutes on the pitch.

    I predict a party atmosphere and saints swept to victory on a wave of positivity
