It depends over what period he's being judged. Last season he wasn't even top 50. Over a longer period I would say David Silva and Yaya Toure. Coutinho for a while outshone him. Costa (you edited as I replied). Ozil has a shout. From Chelsea I think William was a better player up until his issues. I wouldn't swap Alli for him (although Alli is behind currently, but I think will have been a better player when both are retired). Dembele when injury free.

If I was talking of people who I might argue were better than Hazard, other than Aguero or Sanchez (and I'd still be wrong by the way),
I'd have added Santi Cazorla to the list, at least when he is fit, which is never.

preseason, I said - Spuds overachieved just like Leicester - last season.
Why is that a surprise ? 3rd last season to 6th this season??
We went 1st to 10th. Leicester could do worse.

Just because Spuds have a younger Manager & team doesn't mean they will be constant top 4 material UNLIKE Leicester.

Also their 2 goals are from our mistake.
I am crying about Dave's susceptibility from crosses for long time.
Jose tried to isolate Zlatan on Dave.
Stoke tried the same approach with Crouch & were successful.

Would have added Cazorla as a midfield dominator but as you say he's always injured nowadays. Yaya back in the day was awesome but past it now.

Don't care what you say Coutinho is far better than Hazard. Can dribble as well as hazard and has a better burst. Better passer, better work rate, better decision making and just a more intelligent footballer. Only thing hazard can do better than coutinho is use his left foot and get his body in the way to flop over

You must be the only person in the country who thinks that. Coutinhio is good, yes, but he's not better than Hazard. I'll even go to say not will he ever be. Not blue tinted glasses, just plain sight.

....you'll give me a heart attack, I'm married and too old for this. There was a young lady in the pub playing with her long hair and looking at me and it reminded me of your signature lady. Anyway, fuck the spuds and their evening of 'glory', let's go on and get the record 14 top flight wins on the trot starting with Leicester away. COYB :emoticon-0103-cool:

  11. Christ on a stick! Is this thread still bubbling along?

I thought it would have been closed and erased, after all of the hilarious comments that you lot made, before kick-off.

Thanks for keeping it going, though. It means I can dip back in for a good chuckle, when I need cheering up.
