We're currently in France for training/friendlies. Yann M'Vila is currently back in France (by all accounts). Get it ****ing done!!!
Absolute must imo. we have not got time to play around any more, it would be a signal that we mean business and help persuade others that we are a club with some ambition. It would also lift the supporters spirits after what has been a traumatic time to be a Sunderland fan.
We won't do signings on location fella. He'll have to come to the academy. Won't take him long to travel from France though. We need to get a price agreed sharpish.
Actually, ignore me. Bain appears to be in France from his interview. Highly unorthodox to do signings on location but given our rush gerrin!
Just seems to make sense if we were to crack on at the training camp or nearby. He knows the club & current crop of players. Just needs to speak to Moyes & Bain to be convinced by them. We really need to start making inroads in the transfer market otherwise we'll end up caught Short (see what I did there) come the start of the season.
Not to sound too miserable But the prospect of: Micah Richards (£5m) Charles N'Zogbia (Free) Adnan Januzaj (Loan) Will Keane (£6.5m) Are not particularly impressive...in fact they are quite worrying... Bournemouth have signed Ibe (admittedly massively overspent) and Ake on loan, both of which good signings. Palace have signed Tomkins, Townsend, Mandanda for £23m...very solid signings Boro have even signed half decently with Negredo on loan and Fischer Even Watford have been a little shrewd with Zuniga on loan and Brice Dja Djedje Other teams appear to be very shrewd or spending the money that Sky has gave... We appear to be neither...I can only hope this changes
Understand the frustration, however this is literally the start of our window. They've had weeks to plan etc, we haven't because of the FA ****ing around for longer than they should have.
Thing is though fella. You're comparing other teams completed signings to media hearsay and a trialist. Not fair imo, we've not made any signings. We've not got going. You're selecting a few hand picked links when we've been linked with this many players. Apparently we are favourites to sign him! http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/07/26/sunderland-favourites-to-sign-fellaini/
Says a lot of Says a lot about his relationship with DM. Could be some truth to it, or the usual press ****e. We'll have wait and see
Fellaini would be a magnificent signing for us and Defoe would thrive off it. I'd love it to happen, he hasn't been great by United standards but he was sensational for Everton, and could be for us.
We need Kirchoff new deal signed as well I understand it's all agreed maybe the manager situation held it up.
