I'd hazard a guess Ayling Berardi first choices, Denton the long term LB replacement and Ardvark when suspensions and injuries kick in. I kind of hoped for better but when you have Berardi and Ayling you can't have them both fighting over RB duties. As long as this is because money will be spent better elsewhere
Speculation: Is it possible that Ayling is being considered as a CB for his primary role? Just a thought.
I think he's ok cover there but really is a much better RB than CB. We NEED to sign someone quality in there if we ain't getting Bartley and someone else in there as cover. The more I read about this Macedonian winger, the more I desperately want us to sign him. Seems absolute quality.
I'm hopeful about the Macedonian chappie too. Looks like the business. Was half-joking about Ayling, but nothing would surprise me. Looks like we've lost Lindsay now. He was supposed to be a nailed on signing in Jan. Only £350k too. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/partick-thistle-lose-liam-lindsay-10671708
I wouldn't hold you breath about signing any young British players this summer. Expect a summer of foreign imports
Surely while point of brexit was to prevent foreigners. What went wrong [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere but we've been linked with Sverrir Ingason. 23 year old Icelandic defender who plays for Granada. Been capped 10 times and played that game against England. Has a 2m release clause in his contract. Huddersfield also interested.
Also seeing a lot of sources saying we are interested in goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald from Werder Bremen. He's in his last year of his contract and has stated his desire to play abroad. Seems like he's been Werder Bremen's first choice keeper for last two years also, seems weird if he'd be interested coming here considering Werder Bremen finished 8th in the Bundesliga last year. Nantes are also interested
Interesting .... http://the72.co.uk/85364/leeds-united-will-not-pay-immensely-high-fee-german-keeper-bremen-manager/
The forgotten man. In the little I saw of him play, I was hopeful about the future - and then he was gone. And largely forgotten. Having seen this clip, I'm really quite impressed by some of the goalscoring skill shown. Doesn't matter what league you're playing in - skill is skill. Suspect he hasn't got a snowballs, but who knows this season? http://www.thickaccent.com/2017/06/...oing-viral-amongst-leeds-fans-and-rightly-so/
Mario Pasalic is a kid whos been at Chelsea for 3 seasons without getting a look in. Incredible skills originally from Hijuct Split and said to be on Ortas radar, I really hope so as this kid has it all.
Afraid no one cares, sooner the better as far as we go.Didn't play much last season,we just want the money to strengthen our team,he thought top sides wanted him,and no offence, but failed big time, just got more money.
Best think about Burnley is Dyche lets hope he keeps them up as embarrasing watching Charlie drop and sawp places with a rampant Leeds
