Don't see what Wanderer has done wrong here. He was responding to me. He's the one originally disagreeing with me when I said we were dull against Palace. Which we were.


Not sure what the detail bit was about but I think you lads are getting wound up with him over nowt. He certainly isn't 'whinging'.

I didn't get that bit like. It's attention to detail which has got us the last 6 points. But I must say, mine and Wanderers back and forth was more tongue in cheek over definition of wording more than anything. I thought we were dull against Palace, he thought it was the wrong choice of word. I clarified why and he said fair do. Don't think he's got any issue with our club. In fact I think we're both happy for our games to lack entertainment so long as it brings the points. Sam is going to keep us up on counter attacking football, that by nature leads to a lot of defending. It isn't pretty but can be made up with fluent, quick attacks which we haven't achieved yet but can be with confidence and momentum as our improvement against Stoke showed.

That's brilliant that like! You should pass that on to Sam. Don't tell Dick, Gus, or PDC though. It'll just make them feel a little silly...

 

We only need final passes to improve - really good team performance imo

 

I agree, but that's down to a number of factors like the quality of the players at Sam's disposal, players' confidence levels (which are improving) etc.

I'm sure the quality of the final ball will be worked upon through the week as I agree it did let us down slightly on Saturday.

I just don't more attention to detail was possibly the right phrase to use is all

 

Did you read my post - I thought we played really well only need work on our final passes (attention to detail for them !!) - I'm not negative - unlike some on this site - how can a positive post viewed like this ??

 

**** off mate, I've spend a big part of this thread defending you. I was laughing because Com made a funny but dull response to a post on the definition of dull. You don't have to be Steven Fry to see the humor and it wasn't even football related.

It was a bit tongue in cheek but did follow with onwards and upwards - thats the trouble with emotional txt and emails - no body language - smilies are only a poor substitute - open to misinterpretation
but most players we have are not too bad - just need redirecting -BSA is the man to do it = Gus changed the style & way the team played - am sure similar change under BSA is ongoing
