Im yet to decide which midfield position hes going to nail though. Where do you think he should play?
For me it depends what the game situation is. If we're away from home or playing a team that will want plenty of the ball I'd play him in the advanced of the midfield 3 and get him to press high up the pitch with cover behind him in the form of Jan & Catts, for example. If we're expected to get something or need to win I'd play him next to Jan similar to where M'Vila played and ask him to get on the ball and be a bit of a box to box player.
I'd be tempted to go .................Pick................. Manq...Kone...Oshea..PVA .................Kirch.................. .........McNair... Rodwell....... N'Dong.....................Khazri .................Defoe................ Rodwell has been one of our best players this season imo, and N'Dong did well out wide against QPR by all accounts. Gooch didn't look that great last time out and needs some time out of the spotlight I think.
Fingers crossed, Moyes may have stumbled on a winning combo with the injuries, stranger things have happened. Enjoy
You going to the game? Im undecided on tonights plan off action. Out and half heartly watch it. Still in and watch it with a case full of Leo beer.
A midfield playing McNair may be the goalscoring midfielder we have needed for years and years but we really need Moyes to show he's a good motivational and tactically aware manager. I'm off to the match cycling down from Washington -and I feel positive esp as a black cat was watching as I washed the car this morning -feng sui now 3pts
Must admit I`m waiting for Moyes` team selection with some trepidation. Not exactly brimming with confidence tbh.
It goes to show how bad things are when some of us are wanting Oshea to come back in the lineup. Papys like a skinny Titus Bramble.
