The Chairboys travel to Yorkshire to take on the basement dwellers, with six games remaining the Minstermen sit 10 points adrift of safety and are on a ten game winless run their last six games read lost draw lost draw lost draw so next in that sequence must be lost they also boast the highest number of goals conceded so we will be looking to fill our boots for a change, if we don't win this one we can dismiss any thoughts of making the playoffs. Gaz welcomes back Beano from his ban and will be sweating on the fitness of O'Nien, Sam Wood remains out injured but Rowan Liburd will be looking to start after extending his loan until the end of the season, Jerell Sellars looks set to keep his place in the starting line up after impressing last week, but JJ may miss out after coming off with Sido taking his place. This is a must win game for both clubs but I'm expecting a Chairboys win by the odd goal in five
York haven't won for I don't know how long, conceded 75 goals (that's seventy five). We're 70+ minutes in and still haven't scored. Bye bye play offs. Says it all
Play Offs have disappeared over the horizon for us now with the last three games we have still we have beaten the five year plan last year 51pts, this 61pts, a disappointment after last year but I would still rather this than two years ago
It's never all over until the fat lady sings but I would guess we can start making holiday plans from the 8th May onwards
We cannot afford to be in League 1. If we did reach the play offs, we would not want to win the final (if we got there). So, apart from the financial incentive (gates and TV) there is little point in reaching the play offs. We need to become financially stable and have a sustainable League 1 budget before we get promoted
