The club probably just picked people that will be happy no matter what they discuss. The next meeting will be looking at bringing back Goal Music and he'll absolutely love it.
Some very bitter posters on here. This RC asked about concessions and thought the club should show some humility and reinstate them. What more did you want him to say. Piss poor slagging him off. But then he got an invite and you didnt
Regarding the keeping the home fans behind, why don't the club ask the police and local authority if it is such a good way of handling things other clubs don't follow suit. Not that it will bother our owners as the fans being buggered about won't concern them.
Yes, but it isn't the club's fault, but other incompetents in this instance . The club should ask why other clubs Don't adoptbyhis procedure if it is supposedl so effective.
He already has. At every meeting. They won't even discuss changing it, despite actually agreeing at the meeting that in the Premier League it was unnecessary.
I'd have said 'what are talking about stains in toilets for, you dopey ****s, there's the future of this club at stake here, get your head out your ****ing arse', or something similar. More seriously, I'd embarrass whoever brought up the first petty bit of ****e, to make sure he was the last to bring up any petty ****e and I'd keep dragging it back to the stuff that really needed dealing with.
They should if the case was made that it creates a hazard there, and in other areas such as the south east corner, which could be contrary to the green book guidance and puts people that are under their protection at risk..
The club can't change it. But they could demand to know why this imposition is put in place when other grounds with larger crowds don't need it.
Spot on. The old cliche of re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic is applicable here. Matters which most supporters couldn't care less about discussed at length, things which piss lots of them off either ignored or brushed aside,
They have one or two examples of specific games, where they claim the fence prevented Armageddon, which they trot out as justification. Basically, it's dismissed as soon as it's raised, they say if the police say it's necessary, then it stays.
A good point there, a decent club would take up the case on behalf of their own supporters and not just fob them off with an all encompassing it because the police said so.
I know what they've got, it was posted/published previously and it's likely possible to show why the gate wasn't the success claimed, and any benefits are outweighed by the more frequent risks as mentioned. They won't talk it as an agenda item unless there's something meaningful presented, that forces them to assess the risks and put their name to there being none.
