I'll probably grab a vegetarian dish of the day before the game in a suitably understanding hostelry, interspersed with a few bevvies.

I quite like Cocaine and the Hookers, didn't they play Glastonbury?

(I'll ask Mrs G if I'm allowed my wallet)

Yes, I'm eating before the game (Stafford Street chippy!!) and then Queen of Iceni for a couple of bevvies!! <ale> <ale>
Don't know where I'm going after the game, as the Queen of Iceni is more like a disco on Friday evenings!!!
Now off to work, but I'll start an MDT for the game tomorrow night later.

This is interesting. Alex Neil to be a pundit on the Norwich Vs Brighton game!? I'm surprised he's agreed to that.

My feeling on this is a heavy feeling in my stomach and chest.

I think this is another cheap move by our board. It would be a massive risk. He's never managed in this country, let alone the Championship.

I think it's ambitious in the fact, Why would he leave his cushy job, Where he is loved, or a mid table Championship Club.

But still, I don't want us to gamble yet again. He is a massive gamble if we get him.

The more I think about it FML, the more concerned I become and according to the BBC website, it was INFORMAL talks, so for once, I think TNC has 'jumped the gun' somewhat

I think he's responding to the news. I saw it on a lot of new sources the other day too, that's why I posted it.

I really don't think I want him. He might be good. It's just another massive risk. There were many managers available who have gone to clubs who sacked their manager after us. We missed our chance, so now we are left with choices like this now.

I'm HOPING we're going for someone who has at least been a manager in the EFL and not some CHEAP option. The fact that Lafferty had been told be can leave, has hopefully put him off the idea.

It WILL be a cheap option. I don't need to tell you that.

Still, after all this. Like I said after AN got sacked. I'd still stick my money on Irvine to be manager next season.

I'm sure SW is on record somewhere as saying that AI wasn't in the running to be HC, so let's hope that's true.

It would be irresponsible not to speak to several potential HC's about the job, O'Neil is 1 name on our list, not necessarily the top name. Too many times we have been caught out by not having back-up options when our top target hasn't worked out, I thought everyone on here would see this as prudent.

I think we will be waiting until after the League 1 play-offs for Uwe Rosler.

Is Aitor Karanka still available? Thoughts on him?

I'm not against O'Neill and I'm hoping there will be MORE rumours/facts about potential candidates for the HC post cropping up over the next few weeks.
