Prediction bottom 10 Talk sport computer has us 16th and 36 points. http://talksport.com/football/premi...and-points-predicted-bottom-ten-150306138711?
Leicester have 18 points from 27 games. If accurate they will get an additional 14 from their next 11 games. I don't think it will prove to be accurate
Could be one of those years where you don't need that many points to stay up, there are a lot of teams struggling- seem to remember we stayed up with 33 points first time around in the Premier League so that's just a win and a few draws
I've been dividing the points achieved by the number of games played and multiplying by 38 for the bottom 3 or 4 teams to see how many points we need. It's usually between 31 and 33 points. This method doesn't really work when you get to the last 3 or 4 games but it would be good if we were safe by then. If we had beaten Sunderland and will beat Leicester then I would think we were safe but we still need a couple of wins or a draw every other game.
That's pretty good considering we only have 5 teams bel0w us. Bar that, you aren't far off. Leicester have won 1 of 8 (1-0 vs Villa) Burnley have won 1 of 9 (2-1 vs DQPR) DQPR have won 1 of 8 (2-0 vs Sunderland) Villa have won 1 of 9 (2-1 vs WBA) Sunderland have won 1 of 9 (2-0 vs Burnley) Leicester and Burnley's wins were at the start of 2015 as well.
I had a go at the old BBC predictor, now available on a different site but I don't have the link handy I'm afraid. I also found us staying up but only just! Surprisingly, I also had Leicester finishing above the drop and, if they beat us next week, possibly even finishing just above us. Sunderland, QPR and Burnley to go down in my world.
Maybe you should've waited til after next Saturday to post that.A win for City will be a decent leap for City and a nail In Leicester's coffin, but a win for them and City will be bang in it and facing one of the tougher run ins
Everyone has a tough run in. No easy games in the PL. But Lesta have far more pressure on them to win.
This is a point I made when we lost to Stoke and people were kicking off. The teams below us aren't winning and unless they do, we're not in too much trouble whatever our run at the end of the season. One of those teams below will pick up form, last season that was Sunderland.
sorry, forgot to mention it was from a table i saw the other day showing the table as it would be if it only included games this year.
add west ham and everton to the other five. here http://talksport.com/football/how-premier-league-table-would-look-if-season-began-2015-150305138719
