There is no stick that young Sydney won't get the wrong end of, bless his innocent self .............. (I wish I'd been the original poster of this)
I thought it was all about giving the club a decent new home with the new owner, maybe it's more about them just raking in the biggest profit possible.
Yes, but have you seen the price of personalised plates lately and is that part of the package to the new consortium.
Ehab's quote to Sky is one of the more worrying things I have read recently. Please god say he's just posturing for negotiations. For the love of god Ehab, **** off.
Two weeks ago I wrote .............. ''Where the Allams, agents, Hull City, Hull media sources are concerned I won't allow myself to believe one word from any of them .............. I'm waiting for the ink to dry on contracts before I'll celebrate.'' For me personally, **** all has changed.
This further suggests that the problem isn't interest from buyers or a lack thereof, but an unwillingness from the Allams to sell. Assem only ever said he was going as a threat which backfired when it turned we'd actually quite like that. They love the limelight.
Its impossible to move forward unless they go. Its time we had unity amongst everybody to go along with our continued success.
Not much changes, does it? The Allam family playing games, disrespecting the fans and now twisting with their manager , who has made it very clear he needs answers. It's boring, it's unnecessary and it just isn't worth following anymore.
All that about it being a gift for the people of Hull was always complete bollocks. It was and always will be about how such profit was in it for them, so they didn't need to pretend it was ever anything else. I don't think anyone is against them making money out of it when they have invested what they have.
I suspect that if the rumours are true regarding a sale being 'close' and little information coming out under NDA's that the current processes going on are 'due diligence' and 'heads of terms'. That being the case the value may well have already been set based on yesterdays result. Irrespective... sign the paperwork Mr Allam' at which point you will actually, 'maybe' get some respect back for for once keeping your word and finding the club 'the right owner' to take the club forward.
If they are going to sell, then they need to strike while the iron's hot. It's unlikely the club will be worth what it currently is again without further investment. Once the season starts, and the transfer window closes, the potential value of the club will drop significantly. This is the only time I can see them getting their investment back without having to risk more. Even if we stay up comfortably, without Europe, the value if the club next season will probably be what it is now. I guess now Ehab is holding the purse strings, we're going to find out if he's the kind of man to twist with 19 on the table...
