I haven't let him spoil it, I still get a shiver down my spine when the lads walk out. But it doesn't feel the same as it did before.
If anything, my support of City is even stronger now. I know that will sound daft because I boycott but that's just the way I feel. I dream of the day I get myself another season pass.
I don't believe you Chazz. I went to one home game last season(Fulham, 2-0 us) just because... I don't know... It didn't feel right at all. We need the Allams to go. Then we start again. Hopefully with decent people in charge. I know they could be just as bad, but it's worth the risk.
I'm with you Kempton Would have gone to the first game at home whoever we had been playing. Its the start of a new season, new hope, new faces, new grounds, new kit. That's what you do, after eagerly awaiting the fixtures coming out, counting the days down and then its here. And for the last few years, its to been the same. No feeling of connection with the team. Half hearted. Disinterested. Spending more time on my phone (like my ****ing lads and most teenagers do) watching other results and putting in play bets on (when the wifi works), than watching the game. Those two ****ers have got to go. Simple as that.
You don't 'let' them. They just do It's like asking why you'd 'let' a virus infect you. You have no choice, they just do I boycotted for a while...but I'm weak. However I still feel slightly dirty every time I go. That might overstate it but they have absolutely, 100% reduced my enjoyment
