    Good Morning Everryone,

Saints boss Claude Puel is ready to offer 10m for Pontus Jansson.

Jansson last week took to Instagram to try and reassure fans he wants to stay at Leeds.

He wrote: "Even if people talk, i have never been happier than right now..4 more games and lets start it on monday! See you at Elland Road!"

    Is talk cheap?

Why has he not joined us yet?

Monk has admitted that his team need to alter their mentality after falling out of the play-off positions in the Championship.

As reported by BBC Sport, Monk said: “We’re on the hunt now. We’ve got three games to do it now and we have to play for our lives.

“I know 100% that this group will give everything in these next three games and if we take nine points then we give ourselves a great chance.

“We now have to change our mentality and it can be a dangerous situation for other teams because they can change their mentality to protecting a little bit.

“I have great belief in this group

“The first 45 minutes was one of the poorest of our season. There’s no excuses.

“We took the game to them in the second half and asked questions of them and that’s how it needs to be from now on.”

Max Gradel wants to leave Bournemouth.

The 29-year-old has told BBC Sport that he wants to end his two-year spell at the Vitality Stadium due to a lack of game time.

The Ivory Coast international has made just 11 appearances in all competitions for the Cherries this season.

BBC Sport claims that Gradel is concerned that his international career could dwindle if he fails to earn more regular first-team football, but Bournemouth do not want him to leave.

The Ivorian has just over two years remaining on his current deal with the Cherries, but his desire to leave suggests that he will force through a transfer.

Morning Elland and all. Worrying fact for me is weve won only two away games in 2017 and we now have to win two in the next fortnight Fingers and toes all crossed at this point. Reason Jansson hasnt joined yet is no one was willing to stump up the 3.5m. Put whatever spin on it you like, but thats the obvious one

Ross McCormack’s troubled season has taken a fresh twist after it emerged he has not trained at Nottingham Forest for three weeks.

McCormack, Aston Villa’s £12 million striker, has been unavailable for Forest’s relegation battle due to “personal issues” and is unlikely to play again this season.

It is understood the Scotland international was struggling with an Achilles injury last month but he has not reported for treatment at either Forest or Villa, his parent club.

Forest have declined to comment or clarify the reasons behind his absence, but it is believed the issues are both personal and health related and serious enough for him to have been away from the club for nearly a month. Sources allege he was recently back in Glasgow, nearly 300 miles away from Forest’s City Ground.

Forest are paying a huge chunk of his £48,000-a-week wages, after agreeing to sign him on loan on deadline day, but he has not featured in Mark Warburton’s match-day squad since the 2-2 draw with Derby County on March 18.

McCormack’s absence is the latest incident in a difficult campaign for the 30-year-old, following his spectacular fallout with Villa manager Steve Bruce in January.

He failed to report for training after insisting the electric gates at his home were stuck, infuriating Bruce, who then exiled him from the first-team squad.

Bruce also said he would not pick him again until he apologised, shipping him out to Forest on loan hours before the transfer window closed.

Villa will move to sell the former Fulham striker in the summer but his problems come at a bad time for Forest, who are fighting to avoid relegation to League One.

His arrival was seen as a major coup for the Championship strugglers, as McCormack scored 23 goals for Fulham last season. But he has scored only once, in the 5-1 defeat at Norwich shortly before Warburton’s appointment.

Forest’s defeat at Cardiff on Easter Monday left them just one point above the bottom three, ahead of Saturday’s home game against Reading.

Morning all, Pontus, Monk and all things to do with signings will be sorted out after we know where we're playing next season. I'm hoping Rad has the club, the fans and the premier league at the front of his mind, as we have had a great season. I will be gutted if this season turns out to be a freak and we let Monk go, Pontus, Bartley and all the other good players go, and we do mid table again next season. I hope Rad has big plans that are obvious, not just talk like weve had for 12 years. We need to build on this season just like all promotion contenders do. Brighton have taken 4 seasons of investment, we go close in 9 months so need more of the same.

Morning Doc, one thing I'd say... Leeds 60 was right about Knockeart.

Do you think if we don't go up, we'll need to start from scratch again?

If we dont go up and we lose our best players again, dont invest anything, lose Monk ..... we are doomed to midtable or worse again. Rad will have taken the club backwards in 6 months. I'm not sure what will happen as Rad said Monk was top of his priorities, but never happened, Monk seems upset and results have reflected that since Xmas, Pontus not signed, no talk of Bartley signing. I think its called make or break time for the club now

    Morning all

Isn't the Jansson deal done and he's signing in the summer. We've hit target amount of appearances so everything is finalized in the summer.

Thats what we were told. So in theory we pay for him and then Southampton give us 10m if they want him.

Pontus and wood will go if we fail. Depressing really but the money in the Prem means that's how it will be.

We failed to invest in Jan to give us the best chance of going up. If we fail then it's 2 steps back I'm afraid

Still been a fun season though
