What a disappointing Europa Cup final last night.

I was surprised at just how poor Ajax were!

But they're all youngsters Elland; players for the future (he hears you cry)

Well, if they are not good enough NOW, don't bloody play them!!!

Seriously, don't think Ajax had a proper shot on target.

If that is the standard of the creme de la creme for the Dutch league, then I'm off to Holland to start my own footballing career!




The first time the commentator mentioned about the psychological impact Monday's tragedy had had on the Manchester Utd players annoyed me. On the 30th time, I wanted to put my fist through my TV.

Morning pal, Rad has spent a lot of money on bringing in high profile people in behind the scenes. Why would he do this if he didn't have big plans???

 

Big plans indeed, buy back ER, build new stadium, sell naming rights, TA to go and new academy set up. These will be nailed on hence the reason for the guy from West Ham who did the deal for them and before that he was at Arsenal doing the Emirates. I hvae also tried to find out from Popey if Radz had managed to get rid of GFH debenture, or if he had received permission from them to do what he wants to do?

So we know we have Monk and his team for another season at least. We know Pontus signs officially in weeks and I reckon we are going to see some new faces to replace the few failures of last season. I believe Radz is going to do a great job. I think Ajax did a Leeds last night. They have played brilliantly all season despatching some top clubs to reach the final, but their young team bottled it on the big stage, just as our kids did.

Morning all.Buying back Elland Road would be a colossal move forward and firmly install Rad as a whole new calibre of owner. Maybe weve a summer of positivity ahead ( except Gloria of course )

 

good monig from scorchio wakefield.day off for me so going to enjoy it.as for the dutch they have been poor for years now.agree about it was not a victory for manchester but knew loads would jump on that.many people were from all around the country.as for rads buying the ground back i knew he would do it.he has full control and the money to do it.why pay 2 million a year in rent when you can own it.i fully expect him to upgrade parts of the ground too.when i have no idea.

did not watch the game cos i knew they would win and then it would be all for Manchester.one thing i am thinking is if you were chairman would you give Monk a three year deal based on the final eleven games .i would not one year for me we were in a great position.so one year and lets see what you are made of monk.

 

I don't know what it is but all these promises Rad is making all sound familiar to me, the way he is carrying on you would think he was Italian

That statement by Radz adds more fuel to the fire for me that he isn't overly happy with Monk? Maybe why he wants to have a director of football overseeing transfers??
