Also what about an Infiniti Q30 or a Nissan 350z if you're looking for something a little bit different to the usual German whip
The Scirocco you posted is obv a top end one, the ones ive seen on the road I like but imo the Veloster looks jjust as nice to me and are cheaper to buy. Havent got the cash for an Infinity and im not that keen on the looks Always loved the 350Z's and some are decent priced (with more mileage) but they're too costly to run for me to justify it
Honestly though, the looks really don't make much difference. You don't see what the outside looks like when you're using it. Reliability and how pleasant it is to drive are the two main things. I've no idea which wins in that department. We've had a Hyundai, (mini van.. woot woot) and whilst the engine, the drive train, etc had no problems, all the interior hardware started going long before it should. Drove well but the niggly stuff was annoying. Funny thing is, when we did our research before buying that's exactly what we read would happen. The stuff that really matters keep going, but it's annoying when rain starts getting in, or the windshield wipers blow a fuse repeatedly.
Ive only heard good on Hyundai, from Luv and the girl at work. You can be unlucky, I mean I had a VW with problem after problem but have owned another 2 which have been good. Have always said I wouldnt bother with Citroens and Peugeots has know ppl who lots of problems with those. Think they're buying Vauxhall/Opel now as well I have always gone the sensible route with vehicles but this time thought to go for something a bit different. My mate said I could buy his Mitsubishi gto turbo off him that is sat there doing nothing but those things are ridiculous to run and havent aged well I dont think
I like the back end. Looking at a few of these I think theyve done that on purpose with the camera angle No wonder Hyundai stopped doing these no ****er likes them Test drving one tom, not that grey one though
I've got a 5 year warranty and breakdown with mine so any problems and it goes in to be fixed. When the warranty comes to an end I'll trade it in. This is what I've got... https://i.ytimg.com/vi/s425fhVApoA/maxresdefault.jpg
Nice, thats what the girl at my work has got. They're smart Yes the 5 year warranty is good, was looking at Kia proceed GT's and Kias come with 7! From date of registration Is yours brand new then? Hyundai own Kia's as well I think
Yeah Hyundai and Kia same thing. A lot of Kias are rebadged Hyundai and vice versa. Hyundai may have slightly more upscale fittings, etc. Btw... Trivia about Kia. The reason their logo is an oval is because they started as a part supplier/assembler for Ford. Their oval has same ratio of dimensions as Ford's because it was cheaper to use same shape rather than retool equipment.
The outside of the car is fairly important for aerodynamics, noise/roar reduction, some aspects of efficiency lad and you want your car to look cool as ****, i don't care what anybody says, if they say they don't care what the outside of the car looks like they're a ****ing liar. Just look at JM's original post on the car. It basically said 'this car looks cool as **** i want it'. But yeh as a driver you spend your time on the inside so the cabin is very important. Is the Hyundai cabin up to the German fitted ones in build quality ? Doubt it. Same for driving experience. German cars are extremely hard to beat in all departments, sure they're never perfect, nothing is, but they generally do most things well and / or better than a lot of other car brands
Meh. Couldn't care what the car looks like on the outside. Wouldn't mind an ugly car to say **** you and your eyesight to the rest of the world. I would be very surprised if the Hyundai was anywhere near as nice on the inside as the VW but unless pricing is different over there a VW is going to cost 33% more than a same class Hyundai... So you're paying for a nicer car.
Never can tell i.e. had a Citroen Saxo for 11 years only got rid of it due to scrappage scheme. Had no major work done till it needed a radiator replacement but it was just over 10 years old by then.Only thing i would say was the there were quite a few squeaks etc from the cabin over time which i'm not getting from the Polo (which is now 6 years old) i replaced it with. The Saxo was 5 times better to drive though than the Polo.
