Polo ride height is like sitting on a throne and the cornering tilt is mad fam however they are rock solid little cars if not mad exciting
thats about it. It's not even as if i'm a keen driver or anything but god it is sooooooo boring to drive. It is like the automotive equivalent of watching a Pulis team
First car after I passed my test was a polo, I liked but hated it since it was my first car but also since every time you put your foot to the floor it was the next day before anything happened and laggy af, best thing about it was probably the steering which was not bad actually but didn't match up well with the body roll i mention when cornering. Soon upgraded that car.
My first car was a fiat bravo... was **** and old but did a job for year and bit when wouldn't be able to afford anything else because of insurance etc. Think it was on its last legs but I may have forgotten to top up the oil (was no warning light) so engine sort of died.
Full list of ****e cars I've owned... Ford Escort Mini Metro Sport Mini Corsa VW Touran Mitsibishi Space Wagon Rover 216 Toyota (something) can't remember Hyundai i20
how the hell did you end up with a scimitar for your 1st car ? as an aside my brother may have helped build your car
I bought it before getting a quote for the insurance. I worked for the Prudential at the time and even after staff discount it was £975 for TPFT, that was 1982 so a lot of money then. It was a great car though 3 litre Ford Essex engine same as the Capri, but more style. I bought one as a second car in the early 90's but never used it much so got rid. I regret selling the original one as they are getting hard to get hold of in decent condition now.
