I watched this the other night even though it had such bad reviews 5.5 on Imdb, 1 and a 1/2 stars on Rotten Toms. I watched it mainly because I'm a fan of Cormack McCarthy who wrote the book and recent adaptations of his books (No Country for Old Men and The Road) have been very good. I loved the film and would give it a solid 8/10 If you have the time watch it and post your thoughts here as I'm interested in why it is rated as such a terrible film. I think it is down to expectation, Ridley Scott with Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Penélope Cruz, Cameron Diaz. I have the feeling that people are expecting a fast paced Hollywood style film and are therefore let down. It is certainly not your typical Hollywood movie. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2193215/
Just found out that another of his books has been made into a fil..........Child of God not great reviews again though.
