Watford? Why would he want to go there?
Much better off staying put imho
Not that fussed, as he is another that flatters to deceive, that said under Rafa's tutorlidge, l reckon he would improve immensely.
How much did we fork out on him originally?
10 million seems like good business, as we have Gamez and Anita, who l thought was cracking at RB in the final few games of last season.

£14.5mill according to nufc.com. If his heart isn't in it, and it clearly isn't, then lets cash in and move on.

£14.5m would be daylight robbery. Especially for a full back that nobody wants and has probably already been more than adequately replaced in Jesus Gamez. Hope it's true.

Sorry. Got my stories mixed up. £14.5 mill is what they are stating we paid for Gini. I think somebody will pay £7/8 mill for Janmatt.

After that slip against Southampton and then breaking his hand punching a wall straight after, I'd be happy with £5m. Great going forward, chips in with a few goals and that, but not a solid defender. Caught out of position way too much.

Another I'm happy to keep IF he wants to be here. Otherwise goodbye. I think Rafa could improve him.

He's making noises like he wants to stay. I hope he does as I like him a lot. Better as a winger than a fullback.

Janmaat is a good player. With the right manager (ie not McClaren) he could be a very good player for us. He's already good as an attacking fullback, just need to work on his defensive work.

Would also prefer him to stay. He has his flaws but who hasn't. Essentially a good player but needs to work on his defence and who better to do it under than Rafa.

So his agent has told him that there's not even a sniff of interest in him and he's laying the foundations for a U turn. Decent player who should shine in the Championship so lets hope he stays............ enforced or not.

Reckon we're looking at Enrique Mk II, will be a huge player in the Championship, improving all aspects of his game massively, will be with us when we return to the PL (we hope) then will move on to another club after another season.

For the majority of his time with us, he has been an impeccable player. Ok, he dipped a lot towards half way of last season but then again, so did everyone. Id be delighted if he stayed. He's far too good for the Championship.

Would he be better served as a winger? He's amazing going forward and carried the most attacking threat last season for the majority of the time.

Wouldn't mind keeping Daryl as long as his head is in the right place. He has gone about his business quietly this preseason though so fair play to him. It'll be really interesting to see if Moussa turns up to training on Monday!
