With only ten games remaining the Chairboys welcome Accrington Stanley to Adams Park, for a game that with a win for second in league 2 Chairboys, will see them climb once again to the summit of the table, with Burton not playing until Wednesday evening. After a majestic team performance against the Shrews on Saturday Gaz's only dilemma is whether to pair Paul Hayes with either Fred or Aaron up front, with Hogan ill Sido and Max injured and Matt McClure ban all missing from the squad. I will be absent from AP for this one as a combination of being without my car this week and a 5am start Wednesday morning counts me out but I will be cheering us on in front of Sky Sports News fully expecting to end our 3 year hoodoo and be sat top of the table on 70pts come 21.45 this evening
Has to be Fred starting up front with Hayes surely? With his recent scoring rewcord he'll be the first name on the team sheet i reckon. Accrington have let in the most amount of goals away from home but that doesn't mean we'll walk it, i'd take a scrappy 1-0 win to put us back on top.
All tough games now so not taking anything for granted. Somebody posted we need 6 wins before Saturday (5 now thankfully!) and I fully agree that should be enough. This is one of those winnable games. I thought Gaz should have been sacked last year (when we were on our awful run) - I was wrong I though the wheels would come off when we lost two on the bounce a few weeks back - I was wrong Therefore no predictions, just so glad this team keep proving me wrong!! COYB
No predictions for me either and I'm out tonight so im hoping that when I get back we will be top of the league.
