Sean Raggett (Lincoln's goalscorer today) tweeted this in 2012 when he was 17:

If my limited knowledge of betting is anything of worth, I believe it is because there are only two teams involved and the variables are really small.
Oops, just noticed Imps has answered more succinctly.

My mate went to both of their finals. His brother wrote a book on supporting Forest too and the sections on getting to those two finals is fabulous.

In my opinion, Forest's golden winning era under Clough is still the greatest achievement in British football. Since the advent of the Premier League, Leicester City's PL win.
People may say it was easier in Forest's day. I don't hold with that. Two European Cup and League title triumphs outweigh one PL title straight away, and proves that there was no fluke to it. Nobody accused Forest of being lucky either.

Another thing is that there were no boring mini leagues in the European Cup, back then. Just proper two-legged cup matches where one mistake could make the difference between glory or despair.

I couldn't agree more. Back when England provided the winner for 6 consecutive years too :)

I'll ask him. It's called "Forest Ever Forest" by Chris Broughton. It is like a season by season diary from when he first started watching Forest. Good read for a footy geek.

The Hillsborough section is incredible. He went up to Anfield to pay tribute and the reception they experienced from Scousers was something else. Very moving.

Fair play to Mourinho for applauding Blackburn's goal.

Yes but Trump is still in charge, can I go back up again?

Not sure whether I want Man U or Arsenal home or away or if I want Millwall at Sincil Bank and hope to get to the semis. lol

    Unchartered territory this.

I'm now wistfully wondering what could have been if we had gone full strength v Arsenal. :(

Cracking draw for Lincoln though. Either a tie which they're favourites for or a big money spinner at the Emirates.
