he was put on the transfer list at the end of the season. obviously no interest in him. so when pre season started clarke knew he was stuck with him so told him he has a chance to prove himself if he shows the right attitude in training etc. he has been mainly involved in pres season games which involved the youth team and hasnt yet been involved in any of the 3 games we have played so far in the league. been a sub but not came on yet. wonder what the reason is for that. now im only guessing that he hasnt done enough in pre season / training. again im just guessing.

im glad you can re-sponsor someone if he leaves etc. you're doing a good thing for him, i just hopes he appreciates it

Players do not always play at the top of their game. I have only watched the 2 home league games this season and the players at least look as if they proud to wear the quarters of BRISTOL ROVERS. Ellis Harrison came on as sub on Saturday and looked as if he had a point to prove and set about trying to prove it. I was really pleased to see that he is 1 of the players sponsored by the forum this season and I hope he goes on to fulfil his potential

 

Well said. If he can knuckle down, concentrate on his football and build a decent relationship with DC then we'll have a good player on our hands.

We were very pleased to hear Dominic Thomas was part of "The Eleven" a National Scholar Award. Last season the Football League Trust started a new national competition to reward scholars who had shown good progress with their football development, strong application to their education progress and a willingness to involve themselves with the local community. Recommendations and references were taken from club staff, FLT regional directors and other respected FLT monitors.

The competition is called simply “The Eleven” and the top eleven scholars nationwide were selected for the award.


Our FFS Club think hard work and dedication should always be rewarded and Dominic has both as well as obviously being a fine young man with a fantastic attitude...

...as such The FFS Club would like to reward him in our own small way....
