I said back in august that I hoped Ellis Harrison would go on to fulfil his potential, since then 2 goals 2 winners. John I think you ought to be pleased with your choice when he was selected for sponsorship for this season. 2 goals lets hope by the end of the season there is a 0 after the 2.

 

im pleased for him. im happy to put my hand up and admit i said he was poor last season and wanted him out. he has knuckled down and showing his form from the previous season. he has grabbed his 2nd chance. now he is the super sub!!

I really, really hope that Ellis carries on with his rehabilitation - he's definitely far more focused than last season.

I will admit to being desperate to Sponsor Ellis, i've talked to him many times and he needs confidence, a month ago he was completely lost under DC and i think he was thinking he would have to leave to get going again, i personally think DC was very hard on him and possibly too hard, i told him loads of Gasheads were right behind him and to ignore the few boo's he was getting, i also sent him a picture/quote which he said he was thankful for, he really was struggling. I said we're gonna Sponsor him as the last time we did he went on to be a major part of saving our season 2012/13.

If you meet Ellis he really is a great young man. Or maybe i just see him as one my favorite players and i'm biased!

Either way, he's grabbed his chance and in my opinion his 2 last minute winners recently have ironically saved our managers job!
