Let's see what view the Football League takes of this: it doesn't sound too different from where we were in 2009.

Brentford have announced that manager Mark Warburton and his coaching staff will be leaving the club this summer.

Club now going to implement a Director of Football and Head Coach structure with new staff ahead of next season.

Have heard that Paco Jemez may end up there - that could be interesting.

In a way they're mimicking us in changing the manager before the crest of the wave starts to break. Brave decision, but we know it works provided they choose correctly. They are also going to restructure their setup from Manager to Sports Director and Head Coach, etc.

I was thinking earlier... they must be a fairly attractive proposition to managers now?

London club, just below the Premier League, moving into a new stadium, funds available... - no?

 

What I also wondered at the time was whether the players and staff will have the same intensity until the end of the season..?

Also comparing it to Saints again, when that arse, Chris Kamara spilled confidential info that WGS was going to leave Saints at the end of the then current season, the results took a nose dive and the team lost focus, so that WGS decided it was best to leave earlier than planned, and Paul Sturrock came in.

Incidentally, we then beat ManC at then named Eastlands 3-1, but that's another story. Nothing much happened since, eh..?
