Time for Wenger to be sent upstairs. A change is needed...though fans will have to realise that the first change may still not work. Could take time.

I'd love to see them go for Sampaoli.

Not me. I don't give a toss about them in the PL so why should one be any different when they play in Europe.? I don't want to see them succeed. We'd never hear the bleeding end of it.

I'd rather see an English team win than a Spanish/German one personally. Each to their own though.

I'm glad you asked that question though, as English sides doing well in Europe will raise our coefficient improving rankings etc. So if we plan on qualifying for Europe semi-reguarly then it WILL benefit Saints directly and is in our interests that they do well <ok>

Looks that way, to be fair it looked like he was pissed off as no other players backed him up on the press. Can't blame him for that to be honest, I would be too. I didn't see the game but there's also a picture that looks like he was the only one who bothered to go over to the Arsenal fans at the end...

That's a fair answer. Yes, I'd like to see Saints benefit from the continued coefficient because I know it has been under threat these last few years. Perhaps if they made less of a song and dance about it when British glamour clubs win I'd be a little more charitable. Leicester are the British club in the CL who really deserve the plaudits. Do they get equal coverage.? Barely heard a peep by comparison.?

As for Oxlade-Chamberlain, I'm surprised he's throwing a wobbler like that. He didn't get that from the Academy. Yes, he was frustrated, but really. Jumping up and down on the spot.? That's for kids.

Leicester have had **** loads of positive coverage regarding the CL this season, will do next week more so when it's their turn to play. Arsenal are out now anyway so you'll be happy ;)

As for Chambo, agree that it looked very childish, was just saying I can see why he was pissed off. Doesn't excuse it though.

Looks like Barca and the Gunners will be looking for a new manager next season, will Koeman end up at either one?. Or will he be loyal and see out his Contract?....:emoticon-0136-giggl

Tbh, I'd be surprised if either are offered the job, despite Koeman's connections, in his case. However, if either are offered the job they'd be writing their resignations from Spain.

So Arsene Wenger is to make a decision at the end of the season whether to stay on as manager. Apparently, a new offer of a contract remains for him to sign should he want it. That club rewards mediocrity it seems: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38991573

TV programme about Russian football hooligans is being broadcast on BBC 2 this evening at 9pm. Interesting in that Russia is hosting the WC in 2018. An interviewed Russian suggested that there will be incidents 100% guaranteed, and that if you don't want your arse kicked just surround yourselves with your children.

La Liga clubs have had a rather miserable week by their high standards with Celta losing to Shaktar and Villareal 2-0 to Roma. Could be that Athletic are the last man standing come the last 16. Would be wonderful for that club to gain its first European trophy but I am not holding my baited breath as there are stronger clubs around, but you never know.

I think it's fair to say that, had Saints had replaced the two proven quality strikers from last season, at the start of this one, we may well have won that group and given the likes of Besitkas a damn good match.

Trip to Rostov away roughly the last thing we need right now though. We've got a bigger prize.

We would have been home to Besiktas.... a trip to Turkey just before cup final wouldn't have been great either to be fair <yikes>
