why does she have a 56 degree wedge on the green, god damn it. I see a need to teach the bitch some etiquette.

She isn't wearing the right golf shoes either, but I can forgive her for that.
Be nice if she pulled her knickers to the side for the photo as well :emoticon-0110-tongu

Saturday morning and the weekend has started, club match today.
Playing Farnham, 6 pairs matches in Ryder cup style match.
Meeting for 10 for full English brekky then teeing off after 11, weather is canny down here, getting to about 20° so looking like a good day.
Wife is playing in the ladies medal today as well, she plays off 28.
Post result later today, anyone else got a game?

Played yesterday in a 3 way comp'. 16 players from each side, the best two stableford scores from each four ball counted and our team The Dik Dik's (my team) won :emoticon-0100-smile
Afterward a BBQ at the clubhouse with the other teams and all the wives and girlfriends turned up...one massive pissed followed, feeling tender this morning, but we all had a great day.

Well it was 5 matches in the end.
Me and my partner who plays of 18 were drawn against 2 18 handicappers which meant I was giving them all 5 shots each.
We won in the end on 18th hole, tough match and very good company.
The team won overall 5-0 so happy team result too.
Medal tomorrow and again weather looking canny down here, plus for Farnborough...........the 17th is open!!

Its soul destroying mate. Knowing your inside 50 yards and you can't get the ball on the green.

Gotta just keep Working thru it mate. I haven't had anything like that so can't appreciate what you're going thru, try different club and go down the shaft or something?
Mate of mine had the sharks and was driving him to almost packing the game in, had a lesson with pro and was told he was standing to far away from the ball?
Fixed it in ten minutes, try a lesson, might worth it.

My son's a pro at Corby's Priory Hall GC.

Had a lesson with him and it didn't help.

I guess I just need to work through it until it goes.

It stopped me playing for 2 years though!

2 years, that would kill me, keep it going and hope you turn the corner soon.
golf is my release from my work during the week. As long as I do things with the wife etc etc she lets me play pretty much whenever.
Just finishing my bacon butty then walking down to the club for my game, Sun's already out down here in Farnborough so short sleeves n shorts again :emoticon-0142-happy

absolutely, don't give up......golf is a sport where the tiniest margins determine a good round from a bad round. Also, when you get into a bad habit in your swing, its tough to break that habit, but as someone said, go to a professional, I know you tried your son, but just go and speak to another, if you have played well before, it will be a simple issue and you will be back.....trust me, I have been there.
