They've run out of ideas. Other than Poch and Koeman (who is never going to go there), and obviously Zidane, they're all managers that have been kicked out of Real fairly recently, all with massive pay-outs. Serial money-wasters. And for what? A CL trophy once in 14 years, and a league title once in the last eight years in a fairly Mickey Mouse league (in terms of genuine competition). Cost them billions to achieve that. It must be like supporting a comic strip team.

Yes, had heard that stat, but I stick by my point. In the eight year period I refer to, it is only once that another team other than the big two have won it. Having spent the amount they have, Real Madrid really should have down better. Premier League has a good four teams on similar financial ground. La Liga has two. You'd hope to win more than Real have if you spent that kind of money on manager, transfer fees, and players' salaries.

Common sense would tell you this, but the media just love a rumour. An ambitious club would not sell an important player mid-season....neither would a club struggling against relegation for that matter. The only reason to sell is to avoid administration and that obviously isn't us. I hate the idea we will sell him in the summer, but I suppose if the money was right and the player wants to leave it will happen. Our fault for nurturing good players I suppose.

 

Media will spend the next couple of days rejigging the "Hands off" message from RK and then get back to the Man U/Chelsea still want him followed by Sadio's agent saying he wants to go ....blah blah blah!
