It's that time of year again folks and transfer rumours are starting to circulate with only 15 days to go before the transfer window opens once again. Both John Ruddy and Gary Hooper have been linked with moves away from Carrow Road so far with no mention of any possible incomings as yet. I also see that Cameron McGeehan seems keen to link up with The Hatters once more in another possible loan deal. We generally have a 'sticky' transfer thread to keep everything neat and tidy so I thought I'd bite the bullet and start the ball rolling. OTBC
KIO, if it brings us anywhere near the fortune your matchday threads do, I don't think there'll be too many complaints
Looks as though he may be Newcastle-bound. I really like McCarthy @ QPR. A good keeper is the difference between success and failure imo. Shay Given seemed to do well at Boro last year?
Looks as if Cameron McGeehan will only be moving to the Hatters if it's a permanent deal. http://www.lutontoday.co.uk/sport/l...interest-in-permanent-mcgeehan-deal-1-6480918
Yep - I wonder what our reaction would be in the market if Liverpool swooped for both Ruddy & Redmond. At least they have history for overpaying for English talents.
If Liverpool paid 20 million each for Markovic from benfica and Lovren from Southampton and 25 million for Lallana then we would surely be looking at no less than 12 million for Redmond? Knowing McNally he will look to take Liverpool to the cleaners over Redmond. We got 6-8 million for Snodgrass so we should demand a big price for Redmond. Has anybody seen us linked to any wingers? Maybe a resurfacing of the Chung Yong Lee from Bolton rumours?
The Watford manager is saying that he would like to keep Bassong, but that it is looking unlikely to happen. 're-integrated into our squad?
That 18 year old boy who scored a hat trick for Birmingham against Reading last week looks promising.
He did that weekend, would like to see him over 15-20 games before making a more informed judgement though.
Rumours seem very thin on the ground so far. What has happened to the red tops, given up inventing stories?
We're championship now, the red tops don't care about us. I suspect we'll be looking at a few youngsters going out on loan, but unless any first team players leave, no new faces. I can't think of any positions we'll be desperate to bolster.
A transfer rumour re E Bennett http://www.norwich.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=381705 We probably are looking to send him out on loan again, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't a straightforward extension to his current deal even though Hyppia has left. I suppose that will depend on the new manager's assessment, but he's a very decent player at this level.
