We let them have bragging rights over minor sports, such as Rugby Union, but generally rule the roost over everything else. It's the natural order of things...
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp..._half_to_continue_unbeaten_start_to_the_year/ You have to hand it to Kings Langley - three successive promotions bringing money problems, causing their joint managers to resign & some players to leave, yet still they manage to perform above expectations.
Udinese are on bt1 again. 0-1 coming up to half time. Dzêcko missed a penalty by Waddle-esque proportions earlier. Szczezny in goal for Roma playing out of his skin.
And it looks like Man City's bubble has burst, 0-2 down at Everton. Or maybe the hole in Everton's bubble has been sealed?
John Stones cost 50 million! No wonder clubs look abroad for talent. They all seem to be quite old too which isn't helpful in a quick paced league.
Some do! I still think it's a vocal minority though. I had a big falling out on one Udinese forum because some members kept posting in Friulan rather than (moderators had a rule that only...) Italian or English should be used. Not easy to find a translation program for Frulian, hence the rule - and Italian doesn't translate too easily either. The big problem is that Udinese have been poor for a few seasons now especially bearing in mind that they have played Champions League Football. some of course want it to be Udinese only. Like some of our fans they tend to forget where they were before the Pozzo's came along.
I have to say that Lincoln are making Ipswich look decidedly ordinary - more like a Scottish Championship side than an English one.
Whey - they nicked it! Excellent win for Sutton too - hope they turn over Leeds in the next round. I look forward to Man U v Wigan live on the BBC as well.
Well that was a controversial ending to the Arsenal v Burnley game - two penalties in injury time, with the second giving Arsenal the points. Arsenal player kicked in the face whilst in an offside position - Sean Dyce went berserk...
Did a double-take whilst channel hopping through Sky Sports - Channel 5 appeared to be showing a Watford vs Celtic match... I may have to start supporting Albion Rovers now.
http://www.90min.com/posts/4450075-...e-rooney-after-250th-man-utd-goal?a_aid=40398 What a time to be a footballer. Absolutely madness though - no-one is worth that sort of money...
Goodness me - didn't realise this was so serious. Hopefully Mason will be ok. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/ryan-mason-suffers-fractured-skull-9674938
Southend groundsman Sacked after 27 years of service because the pitch was frozen - first time they have had a game called off in 4 years! http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38717420 Guess Phil Brown threw his toys out the pram.. What happens when the team lose a few games..
