Awful story here - young player collapsed and now has suffered permanent brain damage having been given the all clear. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40595416
Bournemouth have found some development land close to their existing stadium and hope to build something rather larger than the existing ground. They are hoping to submit a planning application next year, and have it ready by 2020.
They have plenty of room for developing a modest stadium as suggested (25k max). Can't see them needing any bigger.
Yes. Presumably, if the bottle had cracked his head open, he'd have been red carded for gratuitously bleeding on the pitch...
Some sad news coming from our non-league neighbours. https://www.stalbanscityfc.com/clive-churchhouse-rip/
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...ylian-mbapp-agree-fee-principle-a7858781.html This is just getting ridiculously out-of-hand - a £161M transfer fee is nothing more than an obscenity.
Udinese currently leading 2-1 at Huddersfield, their delightfully named striker Kevin Lasagna having scored his fourth goal in three matches.
Interesting read http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelsea-kids-impatient-claims-antonio-10877316, but... If Chelsea had played Nathan Ake, Nathaniel Chalobah or to a lesser extent Dominic Solanke (because of his age) they would have had the experience to rival this Tiemoue Bakayoko bought expensively from Monaco; it's the way of the EPL though - let someone else do your development work and then buy it, don't bother with R+D.
Well done to the England Ladies beating France by a single goal. Very nervous display, but into the semi-final now.
They don't play pretty football but are very solid and organised. And of course have that nick of nicking a goal or two. Mind you they will have the home side and crowd against them in the semis.
Liverpool looked strong winning 3-0 against Bayern.. Let's hope they aren't on form when we play them!!
