On your recommendation I started legion today. No idea what the **** was going on to be honest. Got 20 mins left of the first episode as turned the football on.

Was hoping a program called Legion would be about the Romans, just looked it up and was severely disappointed. Will not be watching, especially with the above review.

The first episode is confusing, not sure who's real and who's in his head. It was still good though and a cut above the usual superhero ****e.

Not. Sure what to watch tonight.

Tried fences, found it dull and fell asleep.

Hacksaw ridge . Exactly the same.

    Allied: same again.

Patriots day, thought that was very good.

I think its really good, lots of potential. Like you say its completely different from the usual superhero stuff (which is not ****e though ). Its something new for the superhero genre.
You've got to accept the programme is going to be confusing and surreal, as the main character is batshit crazy. The comic book character is also supposed to suffer from multiple personality, which is supposed to control different aspects of his powers (Hence why he's called Legion).

    Got both in my list.

If you liked Patterson watch Broken Flowers, superb film by the same director.

I know a bit about the character from the comics but not a lot. He's certainly interesting and it'll be fun to see how they bring this into the X-Men universe.

Legion Ep2 done, very good but still a bit confusing. It's just done really well, at this point you have no idea where it's going but it makes you interesting in what happens next.

Anyone watch SSGB? Also, watched St Vincent. Would have been average without Bill Murray <ok>

It's different and i thought the story was told pretty well. Thought the ending was a bit lacklustre but actually the more i think about it, the better it is.

Actually bought that on DVD. Was on a course in Bristol and couldn't hire a DVD from the shop so had to buy it.

    No but I want to.

If it's successful enough they'll do an American remake where Germany actually invaded America instead of Britain. <laugh>
