Yeah I noticed it was BBC, they don't advertise these things well enough and it's the kind of thing that should be on more instead of these **** 4 part dramas they love.

I don't know. Watching young adults in their 20's play high school age kids is always pretty horrific.

Second episode of season 2 of the Last Kingdom tonight. Just watched Edge of Darkness, not bad for a Mel Gibson film.

Last Kingdom is great. Shows like Walking Dead could learn a lot about how decent tv works from that in terms of storytelling, pacing and structure

Well could be because Last Kingdom is based on a series of books by an award winning novelist. Walking Dead based on a kids comic book.

The Last Kingdom could learn a lot from shows like TWD, like cinematography, how to build atmosphere and an immersive world. The Last Kingdom just feels flat and cheap, nothing to really grab you. I also watched the first 3 and was bored ****less so the pace isn't that good.

    TLK vs TWD

Watched Rouge One, bit overhyped people on here were banging on about it being amazing. I really enjoyed it but nothing special. 7.5/10

I thought it was pretty decent. Not an epic but pretty entertaining. Slow in parts. 8.5/10. You seen allied yet?

Put it on the Android box last night and all the available options on there don't have subtitles built in and there was too much French in it for me to ignore that so I'll have to wait for it to be released on DVD.

It was bugging me having no subtitles, once it's released in the UK there will be versions with them added.

Did you watch one of those copies that don't have subtitles for the foreign parts? or it has foreign subtitties for the whole film so you don't know what they're saying during the foreign parts? I hate it when that happens. <ok>

I don't mind it when it has the foreign subtitles at the bottom but I can't stand it when there are no English subtitles. I had no idea what was going on in Allied there was a fair amount of French at the start.
