Watched the first part of Little Boy Blue, a well done show with good acting but I couldn't say I really enjoyed it because of what happened, it's very sad.
The first part was very difficult watching, the next 3 should concentrate on how the Police finally managed to get those responsible. Apparently despite all the usual one sided press reports at the time reporting the community was siding with the killers and protecting them from the Southern based papers, the opposite was true. Members of the community were the little sh*ts that did it lived gave names to the Police, even though the culprits families/associates were threatening to burn people out, etc if anyone spoke to the Police.
Thought it was 2 parts? They did a good job of showing how the community were on the phones to the police already in part 1.
Dunno how many parts left but however many they will be focused around these ****s getting theirs, because they did ultimately
Yes. In the show the police initially dismissed the name of the shooter, Sean Mercer, that was going around from the moment Rhys was shot, numerous calls to their phone lines, around the local area in graffiti, word of mouth etc. You see Stephen Graham's character being dismissive about it saying he needs evidence not hearsay, although it was Mercer who killed him.
Watching Shameless (original UK one) Was a bit young when it was first on although can remember the fuss about it, but it's pretty good stuff
Watched Sandy Wexler, Adam Sandler movie. There were a few funny parts but for the most part it was quite lame. Tonnes of cameos by famous people but the plot was by and large poor and the humor inconsistent. #noonediedintheend
Watched Brimstone, I liked it despite the contrasting reviews. I don't get either end of the opinions. It seems that people hate it but because of the fact that the main story centres around incest, there are some really horrible scenes in this film. The people then raving about it seem to like it for the fact that it dares to put these images on screen. It's somewhere in the middle for me, it's a well filmed, well acted story, shocking at times, it shouldn't be dismissed or loved. Watch it and move on. 8/10
Finished Shamless first series (UK) Is it worth carrying on ?? ... lot of series so wondering if quality stays the same
