You only watched about 2! <laugh>

Selma is superb I'm sure you'd like that.
The Kings Speech is surprisingly very good.
Beasts of No Nation is a must watch.
    The Thin Red Line
    Capote

Seen the Kings Speech twice. It is good. I fancy Selma, but the unit won't, nor Beasts of No Nation. Thin Red Line and Capote are possibles <ok>

Watched Shimmer Lake. Netflix had it recommended with 5 stars (of course they did, it was a Netflix made flick)

Overall was perhaps 3/10. I think with better staff involved the story and idea could have been used to make a great film. The acting was wooden the whole ambience was blah and the punchlines poorly executed. Good idea and great ending but just poorly put together.

Great game and probably the best looking game I've ever played. I got mine with a PS4 Pro and I've recently bought an all singing and dancing 58" 4k UHD TV - looks incredible.

Anyone remember the old 'Wipeout' Play Station games?

Just got the remastered version that they've recently released - it includes 3 of the old titles in full all remastered, meaning you get every track and every ship. Honestly it looks and feels insane. Proper old school as well with split screen etc. Brings back good memories.

The new wipeout is amazing, it holds steady at 60fps which is rare for console games.

It's only about £25-30 brand new too.

When you next up for a game on BF 1? Liking the new platoon design. Struggled to get into it last night as I was put on **** teams and then it doesnt matter how well you play if you've no support and people just hanging around doing nowt ffs

Had a couple of good games though

Yeah I thought I'd switch up the Platoon design, I've got some more ideas for future ones. I also have all the old ones stored so can switch back whenever.

I'll probably be on tonight, if not definitely tomorrow. I finally hit level 100. From level 99-100 takes weeks, it's insane. I think originally 100 was the highest level so they made it a right mission to reach. From 100-101 is much shorter as I'm about an hour away from 101. Now they have it capped at 110.

We should get the night time maps this week, the first one anyway. Really looking forward to that, looks crazy on the trailers. Next full DLC not too far away too. Because we're both premium we get this all earlier than most people.

But yeah it seems we've missed each others paths recently as I haven't seen you online when I've been on.

Got another new member in our Platoon though if you look....

    It's my 8 year old son <whistle>

I was on last night and did see your message (as I was just going offline). I was only using the xbox to download a game. I was smashing Wipeout on the PS4, it's sooo fun. Fast and furious arcade action with no loading times, quality.

Nice one, the more the merrier. He'll prob be better than us in a couple of weeks <grr>

Didnt know about the night maps, just took a peek looks brilliant. Love the way the weather changes on the maps as well, makes a big difference. Like the fog to piss the snipers off <cool>

Just got an hour or so now as Mrs has took little un to see her parents. Ive been out gardening and in the paddling pool with beer so far so dont know how good i'll be at shooting

Ive been away this week in Filey mate so havent been on until Fri night

What game you download on the Xbox?

Im wanting that Dying Light game but will take up a lot of time and im still enjoying BF 1 so told my Mrs to not get it me yet, pre owned it'll be about a fiver once I get it. Put F1 on for a bit last night (when I kept getting stupid teams who dont understand you cant just hang around and do **** all) and played that for a bit, good game but not as exciting as BF

My other two games are Rainbox six Siege (which is good but havent played much) and Ryse son of Rome which is brilliant. But finished it and their online stuff is great fun when you can get into a game but **** at matching and getting the game started

You're spoilt btw having PS and Xbox. Loved Wipeout, mental when you'd had a bit of whatever. Had it on Ps 1 I think

Anyway have a good day, see you online soon

Fathers day may be over in the UK, but here's a game I think @InBiscanWeTrust would like to help him celebrate father's day.
