    Find it hard to get enthused about it to be honest.

    The whole Russian doping scandal has made me completely uninterested.

    Might just be me but it seems like there is many more doping/performance enhancing scandals in Athletics than in many of the main stream sports.

    Weightlifting and cycling have both been right up there as well regarding doping.

    Had to laugh the other day though, apparently this Russia scandal there were 2 athletes from Curling under investigation. What do you need to dope for if you're curling ffs!!

    Yes others have excelled in their sport, but Daley T, decathlon. 10 varied events and everyone to a superb level.

    I used to love watching the Olympics but now couldn't care less.

    The whole thing has become another vehicle for cheating competitors and corrupt officials.

    The Olympic spirit is best expressed in the Olympic Creed:

    "The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well."

    In reality it's more fake than this ......... <laugh>
