Fleetwood is struggling but way too soon yet.

The daft thing is Brooks Koepka is now four under when I could have sworn I saw him at four over earlier. Must have been a mistake by BBC or else he's playing some mad **** out there.

Loads of Americans at the top of the leaderboard.
We need some more typical Southport weather to sort that out.

I really hope Poulter doesn't win it. He's a colossal twat.

Garcia might come in each way.

Fletwood might yet also sneak in to the top ten the way he's played today. Beyond that, ****shee chance!

I played superbly myself this morning though so I don't really care!

My 2 are still in it but just making up the numbers.

Awesome round from Grace though. Looking forward to seeing the highlights tonight.

    Spieth won't blow this one.

    He's playing too well.

    Let me revise that.

Right now he looks like that is exactly what he'll do.

Have you met him in real life?
I have a couple of mates who have on different occasions. One, like you said he was a complete twat, when he met him, the other said he was really good company when he met him?
Never met him myself, but I think I would side with twat!

The guy who "found" him is the pro at my club, John O' Gaunt in Bedfordshire.

    Lee Scarbrow.

You won't find anyone where I live, or the club, and he moved on, will say a word against the lad. Even spurs fans!

He turned pro, took his chance and moved on.

Anyone saying anything about him without being in his world, and the many different pressures on him, sponsors, etc, etc, don't know what the **** they're talking about!

For me personally, he is Mr Ryder Cup!

I look forward to the day he's our captain!

Never met him. Have never liked him. Then met a guy through business who was a lying, duplicitous, cowardly **** and it turned out he was good mates with Poulter. Sealed the deal really!

From both yours and Burly's comments above (and the two guys I know who have both spent time in his company), he's obviously someone who divides opinion?

Don't we all have opinions of people in the public eye who we've never met?

Spieth was the only player to score under par in all four rounds.
Two 65s and -5 over 4 holes this afternoon when he looked set to blow it.
Impressive stuff - he deserved it.

Is it true he turned pro when he was off four or something daft like that?

Shows a degree of confidence/arrogance he still has now. I don't personally don't mind him but he's definitely a bit marmite from what people say.

Spieth was incredible today. To make five from where he was and then play the next four holes in five under is staggering. Seems a really nice bloke too.

That's just saying I met somebody who knew somebody who was a twat.

I'm assuming you're a good guy. But if I asked another guy at the wrong time, in the wrong place, who you hadn't bought a pint for, I'm sure he'd say the same about you.

    Yep, probably.

I worked in sports management / marketing for a while so know how irrational it is for members of the public to have opinions (both good and bad) of professional sports people they've never met.

Rio Ferdinand is an example I've cited a few times on here. Many people despise him, I thought he was a really good guy when we worked with him.

I'm sure there are footballers you dislike for irrational reasons.

    I'm no different!
