I suspect the Newcastle board is in disarray this evening... I know this is for the PL (big boys) but they like a meltdown.
Koeman was gutted. He knew it was 2 points dropped. I bet he can't wait to pick up those 3 points at the lane.
Can we please have bets on who will hold the record for quickest missing person alert for fans of the champions? @FosseFilberto or @CFC: Champions of FFP My money's still on CFC from last season who holds the current record... but it could be close.
It seems 'The Lane' could be easy pickings this season. Shame to see how a team can change so much over just one summer.
What you've got to consider is this. Everton won't play much better than that. They raised their game against us, I suspect. Whereas, for Spurs, we can only get better. The fact that we took a point having played a very disjointed game is encouraging.
Why? Look what he did at Saints. With much better players at Everton, more player stability, Everton may very well be the dark horses. They should've won today and Spurs were 2nd best. And that waswithout a couple of big players while Spurs were at their best.
How do yoy figure that out. They were missing their top goalscorer today . Spurs were playing in 5th gear but looked lost. Everton have another 25% there in the tank when they get all their players back and gain match fitness.
Why didn't Lukaku play? I just assumed it was because he was being sold, didn't realise he was injured?
The fitness showed. We were the stronger side at the end. What was lacking was fluidity and cohesion. That will come. We started badly last season, but managed to grow into our form by stringing together a load of draws. It was also the case that Kane started very badly, encouraging many to foolishly declare that he had been a one-season wonder in the previous season, before going on to blitz the critics and make wums of them all.
I heard Hart isnt good enough on the ball for Pep. He could be toast. Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke
