Up to 10 people mowed down by a 4x4. Sounds like ISIS. Exactly a year to the day of the Brussels attack - coincidence?

It was an attack on our democracy. IMO the best way to strengthen our democracy is to take part in it. I would like to see more people join whichever party is closest to their beliefs and make a contribution to the democratic system in whatever way they see fit.

Or, like in Australia, make voting compulsory.

Not a party political point, but what an unimpressive individual London Mayor Sadiq Khan is.

His response over the last 24 hours has been a combination of trite cliches and this ludicrous candle lighting stunt in Trafalgar Square tonight, which will achieve lots of pretty Tweets but sod all else.

Khan could use his position to try to address the real issue but we all know he won't, and why..

I assume you mean the problem is Muslims, and he won't tackle it because he is one?

I think lighting candles & making heart shapes with your fingers is impotency in action from the Mayor.

You want me to make one, but I won't :emoticon-0136-giggl

I just think Khan is useless, and it is exposed at times like this.

Just imagine the ISIS conversations in Raqqua and Mosul tonight...

"Scrap that next attack on London, Sadiq has just lit a candle"

Paul Nutter has broken ranks from the political consensus to have a go at the" Muslim Community". Political opportunism at its worst and most transparent.

Royston, why don't you just leave the poor man in peace. He resigned the party leadership because he wanted to get himself a life. He hates publicity you see.

Why don't government follow the money? Then assassinate the people funding ISIL. They drive brand new Toyotas, and buy **** loads of weapons. They don't make them, and they don't come for free... Soldiers (irrespective of their ideology) also don't fight for free

Some dick in this world has to be funding them. Take them out and they'll go bankrupt, and non-existent.

An idea is beyond money and beyond nation states. You can't treat ISIS as a political entity that can be beaten, it's far more complicated than that.
Tomorrow I could take a knife from the kitchen and drive a car into East Croydon, I doubt anyone would stop me that quickly & no doubt ISIS would immediately claim credit.

Just my opinion but I think it's foolish to treat Syria/"exporters of terrorism" in the same way, there's a big difference between yesterday and a 2008 Mumbai style attack.

I do tend to agree with that but then you unfortunately have some corners voting out of spite, more than beliefs/research. Instead of some of the rubbish they teach at schools, they need to try and gauge their interests earlier than 16-18.

The Daily Mail described Jeremy Corbyn's contribution in Paliament as "well judged". Elther a misprint or he spoke like Churchill.
