If we want to Survive, then my plan would be, Win our home games + dont lose our away games. If that means 0-0 draws, fine. Perhaps one or two away games we might even be able fustrate teams until the 80th min then try and knick a goal, but away games should be about keeping possession and keeping clean sheets, Occasionalk if a gap opens use it, but no Ghung Ho football away from home. We need to be a bit smarter!

Why the stupid optimism, I hear you cry? Nope, this is the most pessimistic I can be - 8th place means McClaren gets an 8 year deal to replace his existing contract. It's the worst outcome of all, including relegation.

I had to arbitrarily award us 2pts for an away draw or we could have been relegated. With the defence we have I think its fair enough and I am surprised the Premier League don't follow suit. If it keeps Captain Chaos' cock out of my toilet it will have served its purpose.
