World(and this forum) would be a boring place if we all had the same opinion fella ! By the way, I agree it might work, but if it dues then goes wrong again, we'd be right in the ****e
@SunderlandAFC MOYES: "Jack Rodwell should be okay. He had a slight problem with his knee but a scan revealed there was nothing there." The blokes like a fecking Jelly fish, hes Spineless. Any little twinge and hes knocking on tbe physios door .
My Dad said this too - it's easy to be injured when things are going crap for the team. When things are looking up it's easier to play with a little bit of pain
Another expensive calamity in a long list, a total waste of space, with zero sell on potential. Talk of winning back his England place is can now be seen to be what it was then, phony self delusion or worse.
How did he have zero sell on potential when we signed him? He was one of the hottest prospects in the country when he signed for City from Everton and was only 22/23 when we signed him. Most on here and most SAFC fans thought he was a good signing. Only reason he wasn't a good signing is because of how he's been with us.
Not me, and I was also in the minority about Jack Rat , 10m to weaken the team was not good business at the time imo. And nothing has changed my mind since, sorry Markus but we seem to sing from different hymn sheets.
If youre referring to his injury record Marcus, hasn't he always been regarded as a bit of a sicknote?
Gayer :from urban dictionary : "someone so gay they are mocked by other gays." I hope this was light hearted banter -: but agree about Rodwell - imo has too much baggage and little or no confidence
No confidence ?, he offers nothing, no quality and even less determination to prove his detractors wrong might be closer to the mark. Tommy Miller take two.
We must - to say a 23 year old English big prospect who had a very successful career prior to joining Man CIty and was highly thought of in the English game has no sell on value? There is no way you could've known that then - or even, looking at that evidence, thought that as none of us did.
It would be nice to know what you think his sell on value is then, my guess is a tenth of what he has cost.
I reckon we would lose around £5m on him - but that wasn;t the point I was making - when we signed a promising, highly rated, highly thought of 23 year old English midfielder for £10m - he had a potential sell on fee of far more than that - what has happened since then has determined his now value - not what happened before we signed him
You are the only one talking in the past tense, and I hope you are right in your estimation of this guy's present value, but its not mine.
