Scrambling to satisfy the punters methinks. If we want to compete in this division we have to come up with a better plan than what I think I'm seeing right now. Going from transfer talk in the higher than ever millions to a bloke from Walsall (wouldn't mind Bradshaw as long as he doesn't deflate our balls - NFL joke) or Barry Town. We've been down this road before and ended up in the backwaters, so this time I was hoping for a classier vehicle to get us to something resembling a better place. Bristol City rarely hit the headlines on deadline day and it appears that the song remains the same this season, or is it at all possible that we will change the record (old timer speak)? I'm all agog at the prospect of us doling out 240 million for Neymar - coffee's got a shot this morning in case you were wondering.
QPR are among the clubs keen to sign Crystal Palace midfielder Barry Bannan on loan, the Sunday People claim. Sheffield Wednesday and French side Lorient are reported to have made offers for Bannan, with the R’s, Brighton, Preston, Bristol City and Huddersfield also said to be interested.
Albert being link with QPR now too http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/TRANSF...lbert-Adomah/story-27708512-detail/story.html
Parachute payments mean you can buy as many as you want. Let them sit on the bench or play for the reserves so long as your competition don't have them. Just like Man City...........
QPR are still in "negotiation" with the Football League about FFP breaches - maybe they are signing now because they may be barred from signing players for 12 months?
When you're a slimy fish you have the ability to slither off the hook which allows to rejoin the bottom of the pond. Oops!
The best rumour was started by one or two on here, we had a few of you going but can you guess which one?
