We do just need another quality player in that position and another in CM and were going to be very close to an excellent side.

**** knows who were gonna get, some fit Mackem lass needs to go nosh off Wesley Sneijder and pursuade him to come play for us.

How many goals did Borini score from anywhere but the penalty spot? Wasn't it 3 or 4? A very expensive penalty taker IMO! Overrated and little, if any, better than what we gave.

    Complete prick as well

What we need though is a wide forward. Defoe needs to play through the middle as thats his best position. We need a player who can play in the wide forward role. Its a difficult position as you have to create and score a few. Borini can play there, its exactly why we have signed Lens as its his best position.

If we want to get up the table we need pace and craft. Borini is not the ideal player I would rather have Januzaj on loan personally but beggars cannot be choosers.

You look at Arsenals options in a 3 behind the main striker: Chamberlain, Sanchez, Walcott, Wellbeck, Cazorla all can play wide or in the centre and will get and create goals.

We need a similar style and options with: Giacc, Johnson, Lens and 2 more (1 new signing and Watmore or Madron stepping up) who can play those roles behind either Defoe or Wickham.

Graham might be a 3rd option up top but I can see us selling Fletcher.

Opinions MCB and whilst I agree he may be a knobhead it wasn't neccesarily for his goal scoring prowess I wanted him here. He had pace, good movement and dragged defenders out of the way which, with better forwards than we currently possess, would have probably scored goals. Plus in a better side I think he would have got 10-15 a season.

    edit:
(bollox cant seem to ad an image)
Alan Pardew reacts to Crystal Palace spending big on a striker, then finds out it's on Connor Wickham

    (nicked of FB )

Could be a top footballer IMO but he is a lazy **** who has nee ambition! Sound deal if we even get close to what we paid.

edit double edit: wtf! now its working haha had mare there like

If Buckley and Wickham both go it'll be around £65k a week off the wage bill straight away and if we get in excess of £10m for the two then that certainly won;t be bad business IMO

Especially if they lose Berahino to Spurs or someone. He's their best player by a mile.

They bought their last striker from looking at Youtube didn't they? £11m as well!

I've already had £20 on Pulis next manager to go, I think he'll quit like he did at Palace, if the WBA don't back him and/or pull the rug from under him.

What odds you get on that?

I reckon it's probably out of him, Ranieri (could turn sour if he gets off to a bad start) same for Sherwood who could be in bother before Christmas as well mind.

    Outside bets Rodgers & Pochettino.

18/1 mate. You can probably still get that price it was only last week I had it.

The Watford one is a banker for me, the Pulis bet just because he's guaranteed work if he walks, 100% he'd be back in employment before the season is finished. If he stayed and WBA didn't back him, like Palace refused to do, then it's only to his own detriment.

    Pure gamble that's all.
