You really ought to wash your mouth out young man, your language is atrocious. I'm going to say a prayer for you tonight so hopefully it works, so when you come on here next time it's only pleasantness out of your mouth.
But would be agreeable with you... duhhh -- exactly!!! (gestapo says the mod who DEMANDS you post on the banter thread rather than spoil the other threads for the other 4 people who post on them! Its not you either as I said he must be quite clever.. that also rules out BB and Chrisgash.
Apparently just 2 Rovers forums and we aint 1 of them! http://www.gasheads.org/thread/3317/forum Maybe if someone is a member on that forum, they can point out there is more than just 2 forums. There is of course us and I know of Vital gas too.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/row-zed/worst-open-top-bus-parade-5759258 The streets looked packed with your millions of fans
That is pretty shocking by that paper. It shows the tweet of that picture further down the page which says "ON WAY TO FIRST DESTINATION". So it hasnt actually started yet Apparently over 4000 at the Mem. My guess was 2000 - 2500 but was told over 4000. Then count all those in Kingswood too. Pretty damn good turn out. Wasnt there 3000 reds at the harbourside when you did your parade?
no way 10k heard it all now we would have had 10 million today but half term week, a lot of families are on holiday so unable to make it
Well thats just made up! we filled all bottom tier, 90% of middle tier and just under half of top tier. Nice try though. Also a lot of your tickets were £20. most of ours was £44 which included a flipping rip off booking fee! If we had £20 tickets, im sure it would be very different!
Capacity of Wembley 90k according to the pie chart you've got over a quarter which is 22.5 so 26k for the blue parts look correct. If your lot are too tight to go because of the price then they ain't a supporter, by the way I paid £48 a ticket took two adults and two kids.
What do you want a Blue Peter badge or something?? A lot of our fans just paid out for 2 play off games and a new season ticket before the deadline closed for the early bird prices. Then to pay £30 for each coach seat to Wembley and £44 for each seat in Wembley and then your food and drink on top, surely you can see something aint right with that considering it was still a flipping non league game! We took more than 26k by the way
Great opportunity here for me to make a joke Banksy but I wont. Im biting my tongue Like I said I though 2k maybe 2.5k at a push. That pic has cut out a lot of people mind Obviously there is no official figure like there is no official figure at the harbourside. Im just going by what I was told by an official. Obviously guess work but if you imagined they were in a stand, they could fill the Blackthorn end which must be 4k or so. I dont actually know how much that stand actually holds to be honest.
Based on this... "The seats are spread over three tiers: lower 34,303, middle 16,532 and upper 39,165" and the attendance was 47,000. 4000 neutrals came. Some of those neutrals were Rovers fans who were not kicked out. They paid for neutral seasts because they were better than the seats that were being offered at the time which was right at the back right in the corner. I know this to be true as several people on twitter and on the other Rovers forums showed a pic of their tickets proving this. However I wont be counting those neutrals. If you split in half the 3 official figures above that Wembley holds in each tier thats lower 17,151, middle 8,266 and upper 19,582 There was a block or 2 in the lower tier of our section used for neutrals. The rest of our lower tier was full so say about 14k lower tier. There was a handful of empty seats in middle tier of our section but we were given blocks in level 2 of Grimsbys side as they didnt sell into level 2. Take those gasheads in their area andy would easily fill the empty seats. So say 8k in the middle seats. We sold just under half of the upper tier which finished just before the big screen. So say 9k in upper tier. All approx figures as there were a hell of a lot of pay on the day people as well which wasnt included in the figures posted out on how many each side had. Aprrox figures but the pictures prove and show my break down to be correct. Thats 31k approx. Which ties in nicely with what radio Bristol said a lot and BT sports who both said Rovers have taken around 32-33k. So 47k was in attendance, I think 31k were Rovers, Conference confirmed 4k neutrals *cough some were gashead cough* and Grimsby confirmed they took 12k = 47k.
Of course, even with the correct figure for us, there would be more red than blue. prices do have am effect in that. £44 match ticket with £30 coach ticket = £74 per person then add food/drink on will have an impact. Yes there were expensive tickets for your game too but as least you had a choice to pay £20 a ticket. I know for a fact many more gasheads would have went if £20 seats were available. Just like Wembley in 2007. We had different price brackets per area of the stadium and people were not priced out of watching the game. This time for a non league game charging the price they did was stupid. You could get cheaper seats for todays play off game between Middlesbrough vs Norwich than you could for Rovers vs Grimsby!
