We've got this all wrong, lads. I think Skiddy must have been referring to Spur's upward spiral.

Quite clear what I think, the question was has Poch realised this now?

He's never been one to take cup competitions seriously so why start now? Suggests to me that he knows it's his best shot of success with you.

 

It is right now.

Simple facts are that with a new stadium to pay for we just don't have the money to strengthen the squad sufficiently to make a serious title challenge. Especially at the ridiculous prices being asked nowadays.

 

Agreed, not disputing any of that. Was just suprised at how strong his teams were for these 2 games as typically he doeesn't take the cups all that seriously.

On a real....about time Poch took the cups seriously, he's probably realising the league is Chelsea's and we at Spurs won't be happy with the top 4 trophy unlike our neighbours. Can't win everything, but got to give it a real shot.

 

Agreed, it was one thing I really disliked about Poch and his time here.

Well, he's not likely to come out and say it, but I'm sure he knows that himself.

If we got very, very lucky and got no more injuries, we could finish top three. But nobody's catching The Chavs, imo.

 

I am glad he's taking the cups seriously...winning a trophy would be fantastic. ..it's been 9 years since we last won one
