Still no commentary this end. There seems to be all sorts of problems. Apparently the ko is a 5pm, York have had 100% possession and we are 2-0 up. Fantastic <laugh>

I don't like this new format either. There used to be all teams listed and you could choose your match and home or away commentary. What's happened?

We're away next week Greeny. Day 1 means nothing. But nice for all of us to start with a win. Just watched the highlights and I must say Owen's goal was a cracker <laugh>

Gareth Ainsworth: Wycombe boss on York win

"It was always nice to see some of the new boys jump into what we do and get off to winning ways.

"We played some great stuff out there today and we are really pleased to get all three points.

"There is no play-off hangover because it was a no disappointment situation for me, it was total pride.

"The wounds of Torquay are still open on me and I'll do my utmost not to return to those dark days."

York City manager Russ Wilcox told BBC Radio York:

    Post-match: York City boss Wilcox

"It was always going to be a difficult place to come but you can't defend like we did today.

"That was our strength towards the back end of last season. We gave a soft goal away and goals change games.

"I'm very disappointed with our defensive display. In a nutshell we've got to be better in both boxes."

That was a hell of a third goal.

Was anyone at the game, did Holloway play down the centre with Hayes left and Thompson right? Or was someone playing just behind a front 2?

They alternated a lot, but I would say it was primarily hayes on the right, Thompson central and Holloway left
