To make a point, it's a speed LIMIT. You don't have to drive to that speed. I'd be happy just to put Chris Moyles in there and close the door.
Fair point on a narrow twisty road with kids running around but on a decent road, no traffic problems, good weather etc if you don't drive at or near the speed limit on a driving test unless you corrected it quickly it would be a fail. Agree with you on Chris Moyles, not mad on him.
Really annoying on open roads when people do 40 on a 60 and there are plenty of road signs. But have you noticed that many long roads with fixed speed cameras and/or lots of speed camera signs (notifying you that it is a speed trap zone), rarely have any speed limit signs. I can remember some roads I've been on were I've actually counted about 7 speed camera signs before I've actually seen a sign for the speed limit on that road.
The highway code requires you to get up to the speed limit as quickly and safely as possible. Driving too slowly is more dangerous than driving at the limit. In answer to the op, stoke in room 101
Agree, it's frustrating, not many 30's or 60's have speed repeater signs. What really get's my goat is someone doing 40 on a decent 60 road and then when they drive through a 30 area where they should be driving even more safely/slowly there still doing 40 !
Tossers who pretend to know about other leagues in Europe when they don't and make pretensions tweets about players they have rarely watched. 'Bayern Munich aren't playing Boateng against Arsenal big loss, why aren't they playing him?!' He's f***ing shxt that's why
People who think they are the only people in a supermarket and will suddenly stop and gorp at something blocking the aisle. Either put them in Room 101 or have trained marksmen to deal with them.
Screen wash bottles. First because mine always runs dry when the roads are salted. Second they always fill too slow. Thirdly when you buy 5 ltrs of screen wash the seal on the container needs the strength of two midgets to open it.
On a related note, I hate people who, when walking down the street, often stop really slowly and then just stand there, or turn around at a snail's pace as if they're the only people within a mile radius.
People who take an eternity to buy something in the shop i work in- they come to the counter with one item and then suddenly decide they want somehing else whilst holding up a queue of people. Then they whinge when i tell them that it's 30p charge on using their card under a certain amount. Pisses me right off! Searching for jobs- not getting any notice or feed back from jobs you've sent CVs off for. I'll say snow as well. Can't be arsed getting out of bed at 5:30 am on a frosty morning, having to defrost the windscreen and drive slowly behind someone moving as fast as an asthmatic Ant with heavy shopping.
The last application (though it's on most these days, of course) I picked up had a note at the bottom saying, "if you haven't heard back within X amount of time, please assume that your application has been unsuccessful" - What?! You rude bastards!
