I think we all saw just how quickly A win can lapse into a draw, And euphoric feelings turn sickly When we deserved so much much more But this game does not always reward Those who have the most worthy claím, To a win, and three points on the board Like others, we are just the same No blame incidentally on Ruddy Who was hampered much in the play, The laws here do seem rather muddy Where grappling´s still part of the day But in a league as tight as this is Winning is the only safe ploy, And though I´m sure there´ll still be misses To come, hopefully we´ll be coy Johnson and Jerome had chances As did S. Bassong, with his head, But there were no match-winning dances As we couldn´t put it to bed And although a point I´d have taken Before this match made any start, As the proceedings became shaken It´s Derby who most can take heart With three points now up to the leaders And an intriguing nine-game row, For all you green and yellow readers Hold on to your hats, here we go! OTBC - INIT
Excellent advice RBF, as for the interference of Ruddy, you can see by his reaction that he's disappointed that the goal stood. Still, onward and upward, we knew we couldn't win them all, lets hope we can get three undeserved points to even the balance!
We move on, thought it was a good display from us and yes we deserved more from the game Ruddy was impeded but the linesman on our side was pathetic and of no help to the ref at all, he missed a massive push in the back on Bassong early on and the move from which the corners came that gave them the goal was offside so there is little chance the plank would see Ruddys arm being held Went home disappointed but thoroughly entertained thanks Mr Neil you have returned good entertaining football to Carrow Road and dispelled the CH negativity era long may it continue
Morning gents, have to say that after that performance, I´m not really that concerned about Derby for the automatic spots, even with Bent and Martin to return sometime, they looked very poor to me. More worrying is the fact that Bournemouth, Watford and Middlesbrough have got up a head of steam again, and we can´t afford very many more slip-ups if we hope to catch ´em. I know 3 pts isn´t much, but the longer it stays that way, the bigger it will seem.
Just have to remember where we came from when we went up under Lambert! Cardiff were shoe ins for that second Auto spot and managed to mess it up so we could nick it in the last 2 games! I can see it being a similar situation this season!
To be honest I don´t hope it´s similar, I hope it´s identical, and that we again can sneak into an auto spot.
Spot on jarrold and how refreshing to hear such honesty from our manager after the game. Our team performed well and on another day the score could have been 3 or 4 -1. Excellent thread RBF and we'll play a lot worse and win.
In fact, have just had a peep (I know I shouldn´t, but..........) at the top 5´s remaining 9 fixtures, and Bournemouth have clearly the easiest run in of the top 3 where ´Boro have easily the hårdest. Watford´s too, I´d say was more tricky than ours, as is Derby´s, but I can see the 3 points being tough to pick up on Bournemouth, on paper at least, but 2nd would also do nicely Bournmth: Cardiff (a) Middlsbro (h) Ipswich (a) Birmingham (h) Brighton (a) Reading (a) Sheff W (h) Bolton (h) Charlton (a) Watford: Wigan (a) Ipswich (h) Derby (a) Middlsbro (h) Millwall (a) Nottm F (a) Birming (h) Brighton (a) Sheff W (h) Middlsbro: Derby (a) Bournemth (a) Wigan (h) Watford (a) Rotherham (h) Wolves (h) City (a) Fulham (a) Brighton (h) Derby: Middlsbro (h) Wolves (a) Watford (h) Wigan (a) Brentford (h) Blackpool (h) Huddersf (a) Millwall (a) Reading (h) City: Huddersf (a) Nottm f (h) Brighton (a) Sheff W (h) Bolton (a) Leeds (a) Middlsbro (h) Rotherham (a) Fulham (h)
All to play for with many good days and worrying days to come If we miss out this year I feel very confident Mr Neil will smash this division next year it will be what it will be we missed our chance to run away with it earlier in the year no point worrying about it now
