Ha! I know what you mean. I have a lab: lovely, lovely dog, but how they can train these mutts to be assistance dogs and work with the police God only knows if Astro (yep - that's his name!) is anything to go by.

TBH he sounds about how i always think of Moreno , which is a Lab charging around doing happy as larry but without any thoughts entering into the equation apart from "ooh whats that" as he charges off .

I think what we have seen recently is Klavan really isn't up to it is he?

He's a cheap cover player and as much as anyone on here might not like lovren klavan is no answer.

He's a back up at best. But Lovren is no better.

    Sack the defence.

I can understand why klopp did not play matip this weekend as he would have prepared the team for the worst case of fifa being bolloxs. but to se the same old same old simple stupid errors time and again is irritating.

A total clear out is now in order.

Sorry, last night was praying that Cameroon are knocked out of the AFCON, because of the cloud surrounding Matip.

What really worries me, Jimmy, is Clyne. Deluded I may be, but I thought he was our rock, He has been getting worse this season, and on Saturday he was woeful. We know the issues with Klavan (a decent back up, but lately not so good), Lovren (improved, but that was from a really low base), and Milner (an heroic stop-gap, but never the long-term solution). I thought Matip and Clyne were the pillars to build our defence around - I'm hoping that Clyne is just coming back from a injury.

Clyne is an ok defender - he's nothing great and often gets out of jail due to his pace. He's so poor in the air as well. But his one on one defending is really good and he's generally good at stopping crosses.

I have concerns over his ability going forward - I didn't realise he was that poor on the ball. lol

Injuries and potentially burn out - he's played s lot of minutes.

Terrence Trent Darby is full of potential but too young, imo, to take a regular berth yet. It's worrying.

I wouldn't be against it - he struggled initially against united but stepped up. Can't be much more difficult than that. Would like to give him more game time. Looks like a really classy player.

    Injuries maybe. Burn out? No!

He's only really played league games!

TAA would have a pacy winger and bertrand backing him this midweek. I would not put the kid in for that.

Our defence is getting worse, cannot remember any team come to Anfield and scored two or three goals apart from the last eight days,

The defence is still just as bad. The difference is that they can't hide behind a good attack at the moment.

Today, our defence have to be much more better than the last time we played at Old Tratford.
